BA Counselling, Dip Nursing (EEN)

Siobhan is a Registered Counsellor and works one on one with adults of all ages and youth through respectful, compassionate collaboration. She offers support with workplace bullying, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, teen development, over 65’s challenges and mindful living.

Siobhan’s approach to therapy is strengths-based and person centred and integrates a range of evidence-based methods including Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, Somatic Focused Therapy and Mindfulness.

When working with individuals, families and couples, Siobhan creates a respectful and safe space where her clients are seen and heard, where strengths are identified, and coping skills are enhanced to help clients through the process of change, growth and acceptance. The process of reflective listening helps clients to develop and increase their resilience.

With an emphasis on self-care, gratitude and the mind body connection, Siobhan helps her clients to gently and tolerably challenge themselves and to heal from sadness, stress, self-doubt and anxiety.
